Plain-language summary: This public site is a fictional product demonstration for organizational evaluation. Do not submit veteran records or sensitive information. Using the site or contacting KNECO does not create representation, confidentiality, a pilot, or a contract.

1. Acceptance and changes

By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site. KNECO, Inc. (“KNECO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Purpose, audience, and demonstration status

The site is intended for VA-recognized veterans organizations, VA-accredited representatives, attorneys, claims agents, and authorized veteran-service stakeholders evaluating a potential organizational technology solution.

  • All case data, people, documents, dates, findings, and source pages shown are fictional.
  • Features, interfaces, performance descriptions, and workflows are illustrative, may be incomplete, and may change without notice.
  • No pilot, license, data-processing arrangement, service commitment, or other commercial relationship exists unless the parties sign a separate written agreement authorized by KNECO.

3. No VA affiliation, advice, accreditation, or representation

Claim Compass and KNECO are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The public demonstration does not prepare, present, prosecute, submit, or adjudicate a VA benefits claim.

The site does not provide legal advice, medical advice, benefits advice, professional representation, or a claim determination. It does not establish an attorney-client relationship, accredited-representative relationship, fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, or other professional relationship. Only appropriately authorized and VA-accredited persons should provide representation or advice concerning a claimant’s VA benefits matter.

Artificial-intelligence-assisted content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or omit relevant context. No output should be relied upon without review of the original records and independent professional judgment.

4. Contact form and prohibited sensitive information

The contact form is for introductory business inquiries only. Do not submit veteran records, names of claimants, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, claim numbers, medical or health information, authentication credentials, financial account information, privileged communications, export-controlled information, classified information, or other sensitive or regulated data.

A contact submission is not confidential or privileged and does not obligate KNECO to respond, retain the submission, evaluate a proposal, or enter into a relationship. If discussions require confidential or regulated information, the parties must first establish an appropriate written agreement and approved transmission method.

5. Intellectual property

The site, its design, text, software, graphics, logos, demonstrations, and other content are owned by KNECO or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. KNECO grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to view the site for internal evaluation.

You may not copy, republish, sell, license, reverse engineer, scrape, frame, create derivative works from, or use site content to train or evaluate an automated system without KNECO’s prior written permission, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful activity;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, hosting environment, source code, or connected services;
  • interfere with site operation, bypass security controls, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, or submit malicious code;
  • misrepresent your identity, accreditation, authority, affiliation, or purpose; or
  • use the demonstration as a substitute for source-record review or qualified professional judgment.

KNECO may restrict or terminate access, preserve evidence, and cooperate with lawful investigations when misuse is suspected.

7. Third-party services and links

The site may rely on or link to third-party services, including cloud hosting and email delivery. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. KNECO is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNECO DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.

KNECO does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for any specific workflow, legal obligation, accreditation requirement, or benefit determination.

9. Limitation of liability and indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNECO AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THE DEMONSTRATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KNECO’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PUBLIC SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID KNECO SPECIFICALLY FOR USE OF THE PUBLIC SITE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KNECO and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these terms, or information you submit in violation of the data restrictions above. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from KNECO’s own unlawful conduct.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable law, exclusive venue for a dispute arising from the public site will be in the state courts located in Collin County, Texas, or the federal courts having jurisdiction over Collin County, Texas, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Notice are the entire agreement concerning use of this public site, but they do not replace any separately signed agreement with KNECO.
